The CASI Model 430 and 435 Magnetic Stripe readers are
rugged, reliable, and easy to install. Model 430 is a magnetic
stripe technology reader that can emulate the operation of
an IBM 5029 reader, allowing for communication with older
IBM microcontrollers. Simply set a jumper to select 5029
* Reads ABA track 2 format magnetic stripe cards
* 12V to 48V DC input-auto-sense
* One mile communication distance from reader
* Two operation modes: standard CASI Supervised
* F2/F communication and IBM 5029 mode. Each
* Keypad for PIN number entry (Model 435 only)
* Red, green, yellow LED indicators and beeper
* Door strike relay included
* Rugged cast aluminum housing
* Optional reader heater available
