24v Brushless Radiator / Condenser Electric Fan
This is a brushless electric fan that is designed for cooling applications in heavy-duty,
construction, farm / agriculture vehicles. The fan motor uses advanced electronic
commutation so it has no carbon brushes to wear out. The electric fan is perfect for
applications that require many hours of continuous running per day.
This fan is a brushless fan and its controller prevents any high-spike starting current. A
mounting kit is included with this fan assembly for users who desire not to have a
fan but the problem with that is due to its worn out carbon brushes, there might be just a
few hundreds of hours of life left. There are no carbon brushes in a brushless motor so
its resale value stays. Fan motor is constructed with die-cast aluminum with a nice Silver
finishing. This fan takes up space of 14.75" x 14" x 4" but more room/space(les air
restriction) should be provided behind the fan assembly for an improved air flow. We only
reason, we wish to receive all of your questions and comments to help us better
understand its feasibility to the aftermarket.
Update: By some people's requests, we here show a simple experiment to demonstrate
this brushless fan's power. We stacked 9 layers of unfolded cardboard boxes and tied
them together and the stack was weighed to be 4 lbs. We then placed the electric fan on
top of a 2.25" thick aluminum radiator so the fan will have to lift 4 lbs of weight through the
radiator. The current draw as shown on the picture was 17.68 amps. The brushless
motor will not draw beyond 18 amps thanks to it s built-in current limiter. The stacked
boxes covered a square area of 16" by 16".
