For the lathe the chart gives “Diameter of work pieceâ€1/4 to 4 inches by quarters. Speeds are listed for “Cast Iron or Alloy Steel (60sfm), Mild Steel (100sfm), Brass or Bronze (200sfm), Soft Aluminum 300sfm)â€
For the Drill or mill “Diameter of drill or mill†1/16 of an inch to 1/2 by 32nds. Speeds are listed for “Cast Iron or Alloy Steel (60sfm), Mild Steel (100sfm), Brass or Bronze (200sfm), Soft Aluminum 300sfm)â€
