This is a very rare find that we are offering here today. A very important and powerful source of documentation. Offered is Du Pont’s ARMALON catalog bulletin c1968, which we removed from a huge catalog binder of products made and distributed by the EILER Equipment Company, Minneapolis, MN. This company also had an association with the E. I. Du Pont de Nemours & Co. This catalog describes the mechanical properties, chemical properties, thermal properties, electrical properties, and the typical uses for Armalon, as well as a list of the coated Fabrics, Tapes, Laminates and , Felts for gaskets.
This catalog describes Du Pont Armalon®…as a family of fabrics, laminates, and felts coated with Du Pont Teflon® TFE (tetraflouroethylene) resins. This combination of Teflon and fabrics results in a unique balance of properties including:
· Excellent low-friction characteristics.
· A high degree of chemical and solvent resistance.
· Unusual high and low temperature stability (-300ºF to 500ºF).
· Extreme toughness and mechanical strength.
· Unsurpassed dielectric properties.
Armalon was available is several basic constructions, qualities and thickness. There is mention of a filled composition mixture of Teflon and discreet organic or inorganic particles or fibers being used within a chart for resin materials. (Image 2)

Excellent Condition with little or no signs of use. Light yellowing and minor foxing to the sample board. The pages are Tan incolor and not yellowing.
