Brand new High quality imported ½†Chuck. an MT2 Arbor and a Chuck key.
Brand new “Smithy†brand Chuck with Arbor and Chuck key. Ideal for Lathe tail stocks, Mini Mills and Drill Presses. MT2/JT33 Arbor(Morse Taper number 2). 1/2" Chuck with JT33 (Jacobs taper number 33) mount which is much better for reverse applications like tapping than the cheaper screw-on type which can unscrew as you back the tap out. Capacity: 1/32'' to 1/2'' or 1mm to 13mm. Assembles in seconds without tools. The Arbor has a 10mm x 1.50mm female thread on the top for use with or without a draw bar “Some Mini Mills use a Drawbar“. There is no Tang on this arbor which is the flat part found at the top of some arbors and is only used to help with removal from a Drill Press and is not needed on a Lathe tail stock. A removable Tang could easily be made from a 10mm x 1.5mm bolt or threaded rod “Not included“. This Chuck fits most Asian mini metal working lathes and mini wood working lathe tail stocks like the 7" x 10" Harbor Freight, 7" x 12" Grizzly, Homier, Central machinery, Jet, the Atlas/Craftsman 12" lathe and the 4'-6" bed South Bend MT2 tail stock lathes.
