You are looking at a Starrett no.199 Master Precision Level it is 15 inches long with a 1 5/8 base. These Levels are the finest Levels avalible.The base is a seasoned cast iron precision machined and hand scraped, it readsto 0.0005 per ft,This level has just been hand scraped to 0.0001,this level cost $500.00 to $600.00 new, the top has a small chip in the left hand lower corner on the plastic cover ,it is cosmetic only and will not affect the performance of the level, the level does not come with the wood storage box,but one could be made very easy,if there are any questions please e-mail me as all sales are Final,Thanks for looking.....
