This item has never been used, brand new. The read out may be in Centigrade, as the instruction book states a temperature range of 30Deg. C to 800 deg. C. This tool has a Euro plug so I have never tried it out. The included instruction book shows that the plug is replaceable. The data sheet that is with the photos was downloaded off the Steinel Web site. This tool lists for over $800 dollars.
