Chiron's FZ08KS Magnum Tilt vertical machining center is a traveling column-type machine with a fully integrated NC controlled tilting spindle. The spindle has a swiveling range of -20 degrees to 115 degrees and takes a second to swivel from 0 to 90 degrees. This 7 axis capable model coupled with an LNS Hydrobar Mini Sprint barfeed system and ChipBlaster High Pressure Coolant can produce a variety of unique parts, unattended. Ideal applications include orthopedic devices and surgical instruments, dental instruments and implants, automotive turbo charger impellers and wrist watch parts.
