This is a CTGA-331F GR.883 for cutting 200 and 300 series stainless steels. This insert is for light roughing to heavy-duty roughing on nodular,malleable,gray and chilled cast iron and a broad variety of high temperature high strength alloys,refractory alloys and non-ferrous alloys. Outstanding general purpose uncoated insert. This insert also has good abrasion resistance and excellent toughness. Low resistance to cratering.Very good resistance to thermal shock.
