The Amprobe Pasar ULD-100 is very directional. This directionality is used in leak detection to pinpoint the exact origin of the sound source, which is the leak point.
Ultrasonic Leak Detector. Can find leaks in: pressure or vacuum leaks such as in refrigeration or air conditioning systems; outdoors, where conventional specific gas detectors can fail due to a light breeze; noisy environment where normal conversation levels cannot be maintained.
