Elcontrol microvip 3 energy analyzer power analyzer

MICROVIP3 is a low cost but high technology threephase energy analyzer.
It is capable of performing 20 true RMS measures on an unbalanced threephase system basing on the measurement of three voltages and three currents.
It is equipped with an on-board printer for manual or timed printout of all measures and calendar-clock for displaying and printing date and hour.
MICROVIP3 can work for over 7 hours on battery power without printing and with disabled display backlight.
This instrument is equipped with an Optic Fiber port for connection to a PC to manage data remotely (a connection kit with 5m Optic Fiber and interface to a 9 poles RS232 is available).
The instrument has been specifically designed and manufactured for portable use in industrial environment and is supplied in a anti-shock carrying case in order to ensure protection and reliability in every working condition.
MICROVIP3 is a valuable instrument for all users of electric energy enabling them to gather a deep knowledge of their installations. It is very useful for installers, maintenance technicians and electricians during diagnosis, and renovation of active installations.
MICROVIP3 performs measures of average threephase voltage, phase-neutral voltage for three phases, equivalent threephase current and current for each phase, total threephase power and for each phase, reactive and apparent power and frequency.
It stores energy consumption data up to 999999MWh and MVArh, active and apparent power peaks averaged on a 15 minutes interval using mobile average calculation (models with 10, 20 or 30 minutes integration time available).
The basic version is supplied with a set of 1000A CT clamps, suitable for measurements from a minimum of 35W (5V, 7A) singlephase up to a maximum of 2,25MW (750V, 1000A) threephase.
Other CT clamp types can also be used up to 3000A.
The integrated 42-character printer can be used for manual printouts of all measures associated to date and hour using the calendar-clock or can be programmed to perform automatic timed printouts with intervals from 1 to 99 minutes between two consecutive printouts. Timed printouts are coherent since they are all referred to the start time of the printing.
Some of the results that can be obtained by using MICROVIP3:
Reduce overloads and therefore losses
Verify during operation the correct dimensioning of new installations
Prevent risks due to overheating and lack of insulation of the installations
Approach the problem of Power Factor Correction in a correct way
Identify and eliminate load peaks
Perform checks on naval (0 – 400Hz) and aviation (600Hz) systems
Measurements non-symmetrical signals of PWM controls
