Porter-Cable's new 6603 shear is shear genius. With a powerful 6.8 amp motor you will have plenty of power to cut through steel sheets up to 18-gauge thick and stainless steel up to 20-gauge thick. The shear is variable speed from 0 to 2,500 rpm to match the application. The cutting head rotates 360 degrees to allow cutting from the most comfortable angle. Because there are three blades, material is double cut to produce a 7/32-inch wide cut with no bending or burring of the edges. The unit has been redesigned with a soft grip and removable multi-position belt clip for comfort and convenience and there's an Aluminum gear housing and Magnesium bearing plate for durability. For increased versatility, a pair of accessory scissor blades (sold separately) offers the ability to cut materials such as vinyl siding, carpet underlayment, foam rubber, linoleum, composition shingles and many others. Includes shear and operator's manual.
