Sony magnescale scale linear encoder dro
This is a 47" scale for the Sony LF-200 Magnescale (magnascale) SR-2711.
The working range is slightly shorter by a freckle on one end. I swapped the innards of this scale with a SR-1711.
On this particular scale - it has had a brain transplant. Since the transplant of innards, it has worked every time and there is a picture of it shown working.
Honestly, you could tell me that it didn't work from day 1, OR that it worked without a flaw for 10 years and I wouldn't be surprised.
The head unit is fine, though the connector was cracked and taped. I am listing it because a month ago, I would have bought it for the parts as they are scarce. I otherwise would not list an item that might be suspect, but if you need magnescale parts, here you go.
