I will give 5 Red color Extra LEDs with this pack.
If used on AC, a 1N4001 rectifier diode should be used across the LED to lessen the risk of it burning out due to excess reverse voltage spikes. These diodes are available in my store listings.
These can also be used for other lighting effects, such as building interiors, streetlights, accent lights, the list goes on... Use with two 'AA' batteries to make an excellent flashlight or nightlight.
When properly installed, these LED's have an estimated life span of ten years of continuous use - you may never have to replace them. They generate almost no heat under normal operating current (under 25 mA) so they can be safely used next to plastic without any worries of overheating and melting.
