The PMD440 polarization mode dispersion measurement system offers laboratory quality measurements with the simplicity of a pushbutton operator interface. Capable of measuring a broad range of PMD values from 0.10ps up to 85ps of delay, the PMD440 offers user programmable warning limits to help flag high PMD test results.
Both deterministic and random PMD can be measured with PMD440. Source options include high powered, polarized broadband sources at 1310nm, 1550nm and 1620nm center wavelengths.
