Three Antique Wooden Wool or Thread Rod Spools
Up for your consideration we are offering three antique wood rod spools that once held wool or thead. Each spool measures 10 inches long with a 1-inch diameter head and the rod gradually tapers to a 3/8-inch diameter end. Each has three metal rings on its head. The markings are different on each of the rods, one having rings engraved into the wood, where two have raised rings along the rod, one having more space between the rings than the other. The one with the engraved or etched rings has a metal cap on its small end. Very interesting pieces that will make fine additions to your antique industrial tools and equipment collection!
