The saw has a throat of about fifteen and a half inches. The resaw capacity is roughly 25 inches. There have been some questions as to the condition of the guides. The guides are in good shape though they are not your typical woodworking guides. There is only one bearing on the top guide (see picture) The guides are like thin blocks and the blade just goes through them. When the saw runs, the blade which is old, hits the guide at a certain spot every time it comes around. I attribute this to a bend in the blade and not a problem with the guides. The guides are fully adjustable though and I will try to get better pics of them on today or tomorrow at the latest. As stated, this item did not belong to me so my knowledge of it is somewhat limited. I will however try to answer all of your questions to the best of my ability.
