This product is manufactured with what is called "wide band" technology.
In effect, the motor is able to sense the load that is required to turn at 1075 RPM and calibrates itself to match these requirements. If one of these motors were put on a 16" 23 degree blade on it, it would operate down at it's lower HP range and draw fewer amps automatically.
Same motor with a 20" 33 degree blade will run at the top HP range and draw more amperage. The motor automatically draws less amperage, and consumes less power under diminished loads. It is truly a marvel of modern technology.
