Tektronix Application Note: "The Spectral Connection... Television RF Measurements With A Spectrum Analyzer"
Bonus: "A Guide to Digital Television Systems and Measurements"
I'm going to break our rule about playing the "x number of pages in a y sized file" game this time and tell you that the very high res scan of this is 48 pages in a file size of 386MB. The file size is large because the majority of these pages do contain photographs, mostly of spectrum analyzer displays. This document is scanned to a resolution such that you can see the minute details of the specan traces that you'd see in the original if you used a magnifying glass. Please be aware that this document is locked against editing, which is something we never do with the very high resolution versions of our manuals but are required to do by the consignor of some Application Notes. This means that you can't extract pages separately or insert new pages into the document, and also means you're stuck with the bookmarking and hyperlinking we deemed appropriate for the document. However, please be assured that there are no shareware begging letters or other such faults in the document. If you wish to know more about why this document is locked, click the link behind the words "is locked against editing" above.
Two PDFs of the Application Note are provided, in two resolutions. One is:
Text-only pages scanned at 400dpi (minimum)
Pages with photos at 600dpi (minimum) 256 shade grayscale with contrast individually adjusted in prescan(s) of every page
Of course you also get the usual text-searchable second scans, which are done, as always, in resolutions that vary depending on individual page content, but are never higher than needed to produce useable quality, quickly navigable PDFs that will do the job without consuming more time and resources than are needed.
Here's the info the SpecAn Wizards at Tektronix packed into these documents:

Neither document was written for only one Spectrum Analyzer series, and there is a great deal of conceptual data that applies to any and all Spectrum Analyzers. The Spectral Connection App Note does contain some information specific to 271x SpecAns.
It should be stated that this document is from circa 1992, so any statement in it regarding FCC requirements should be checked against current FCC rules before application.
