Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance.... I learned that from my buddy Scott last summer when I was painting my house: The Five Ps of Painting. He actually called it the six Ps of painting adding another word in there that I didn't want to repeat here.
Anyway.... the five Ps can be applied to welding too. To get a good weld, you have to start with a Properly Prepared environment, including your metal. The EZ Wipesâ„¢ and the scratch brushes will get you going in the right direction, and Joe Welder's Guide has some great tips as well.
We included the gloves because they're good quality and we think you'll like them. And they're cool- Weldcraft doesn't make them anymore, so you'll be the envy of all your fabricator friends. Well maybe not, but they really are nice.
