Ideal for applications requiring precise temperaturecontrol such as shrink tubing, solder sleeve splicingdevices, welding thermoplastics, single ply plasticsheeting, shaping and bending plastic tubing, and manyMRO applications. This Swiss-made, electronicallycontrolled hot air gun features continuously variabletemperature from 120°F to 1100°F and continuouslyvariable airflow from 7 to 17.6 CFM. An LCD temperatureoutput indicator (in increments of 10°F) shows the exacttemperature output selected, permitting precise heat andairflow control. A ceramic encapsulated heating elementprovides durability and long life. The heating elementalso has Steinel's thermocouple technology whichcontrols the element for heat-back pressure when usingpinpoint reduction nozzles. This maintains precisetemperature output. Heat gun also has a 120°F (at 17.6CFM) cool air stage which allows the heat gun to beused for drying, cleaning, or cooling. Heat gun is doubleinsulated and constructed with a high-impact ABShousing.
