NEW Weller RT5 Weller Soldering Tip for WMRP, Chisel Shape, Bent (30°), 0.8mm x 0.4mm
Designed for fine pitch, high density SMT soldering and rework. Features the latest software-controlled digital electronics which provides improved temperature control between 150°F and 850°F. Power supply has three &radio buttons& which allow pre-set of frequently used temperature parameters. Standard features include temperature setback, lockout, large LCD temperature display window, °F/°C switching, standby, and auto-off time. Heating element and sensor are built into the tip to allow quick heat-up time (approx. 2 seconds from standby to setpoint temperature), perfect temperature stability, and minimal recovery time. Utilizing a unique stereo jack plug, changing soldering tips is quick, easy, and requires no tools. Just pull out the old tip, insert the new one, and continue soldering. "Tip to grip" distance is just 45mm, placing you close to the work. Soldering iron powers down to "Off" or "Standby" (20 min.) when placed in the holder to extend tip life and prevent oxidation. When iron is taken out of holder, power unit restarts automatically and tip returns to set temperature. Station comes with digital power supply, lightweight aluminum WMRP soldering iron with RT3 (chisel shape) tip, and WMRH iron holder with swivel head. Power supply is able to detect all other Weller soldering tools up to 80W and will automatically set the optimal control parameters for each. Operates on 120VAC.
