York 400 Ton Centrifugal Liquid Chiller
This unit is one of the two units that were used at an approx. 400 bed Medical Center for air-conditioning the entire building. First unit has already been sold. Similar new York units cost around $110,000 each ($275/ton).
Current unit has been completely refurbished at a cost of approximately $50,000. Following items were upgraded:
· York Solid State Motor Starter (brand new on the system)
· York Control Panel (brand new on the system)
· TRANE Purifier Purge (brand new on the system)

Design Load Conditions Per Unit:
Cooling 700 GPM of Water from 57.7F to 44F
Condenser Water 1050 GPM from 85F to 96F
Refrigerant: Before refurbishment use to be R11 which was drained out at the time of refurbishment. Currently there is very little or none in the chiller and hence transportable.
Testing after Refurbishment: Eddy current test was performed by Emcore Service (contractor) after refurbishment. Test results not available due to closure of Medical Center.

Accessability: Recently one unit was de-installed and transported to an International destination Unit is lying in a temporary room made next to drive way on ground floor. Wall has been cut and boarded due to de-installation of first unit Unit can be slided out to driveway and loaded to truck or container easily.
